How to Use Mobile Check‑In?

Mobile Check-in is a feature available in the mobile apps of The Marriott Vacation Clubs™ (Marriott Vacation Club®, Sheraton® Vacation Club, Westin® Vacation Club, and Vistana® Signature Experiences). It captures and verifies much of the information historically reviewed in person at the front desk. Mobile Check-in helps prepare for your upcoming arrival and is designed to deliver an expedited experience.
Mobile Check-in is currently available at most locations in the U.S., and we are currently expanding this feature to more locations throughout the country. It may be offered in additional regions in the future.
At the bottom of your reservation in-app, you will see Expedite Check-in and a date range. This will indicate when you can use Mobile Check-in for your stay.
Mobile Check-in is available starting three days before your day of arrival, up until 11:59 p.m. local resort time the night before your reservation. If you enabled notifications in the app, you would receive a push notification with a link to Mobile Check-in once it becomes available. Otherwise, open your app during that period and select Expedite My Check-in for the reservation.

Although we will make every effort to accommodate you, requests for check-in prior to the resort’s published check-in time cannot be guaranteed.
No, we must have the primary guest available to verify their photo ID at time of check-in.
If your reservation details seem incorrect, please reach out to verify your reservation details as follows:
- Owners with The Marriott Vacation Clubs – See the Contact Us page for your Owner Services phone number.
- Exchange Owners – Contact the exchange company you used for booking (e.g. Interval International®, RCI®).
- Vacation Preview guests – Contact our Sales and Marketing teams. For Marriott Vacation Club, call 800-782-5410. For Vistana®, call 877-881-2169.
- If you booked on marriott.com – Call 800-845-5279.
Yes. Establishing payment and providing your ID, plus receiving your villa keys and parking pass must be done in person. However, completing Mobile Check-in helps make the process faster once you arrive.
- You will receive an automated email three days (72 hours) before your arrival day, alerting you that Mobile Check-in is now available for the reservation.
- If you have enabled notifications in the app, you will also receive a push notification at that time.
- The Mobile Check-in window will remain open until 11:59 p.m. local resort time the night before your arrival.
Note: Your actual view may vary depending on the app’s brand and platform (Android vs. iOS), but they operate the same.
- Open the app and go to Upcoming Reservation.
- Select the Expedite Check-in button.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the four steps.
- Confirm Reservation Details, then select Next.
- Verify Guest Info for Check-in, then select Next.
- Provide Travel Party Details, then select Next.
- Choose your Remaining Preferences, then select Continue to Review.
- Review all information for accuracy. If you need to make changes, click on the corresponding arrow to go back to that screen.
- When ready, select Submit Expedited Check-in.
Mobile Check-in is specific to reservations with The Marriott Vacation Clubs and only available through our apps.
The Marriott Bonvoy® app, however, is owned and operated by Marriott International for their hotels.
- Watch this how-to video to ensure all required fields are filled out correctly. They must all be completed before submitting.
- Verify the resort is offering Mobile Check-In. Your reservation indicates if it does.
If you’re still having trouble:
- Check the App Store or Google Play Store to ensure you have the latest release of our apps: Marriott Vacation Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, and Vistana.
- Make sure you’re running the latest iOS or Android OS on your mobile device.
- Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
And if you’re still having issues:
- Reach out to the resort team where you will be staying.
Important: Mobile Check-in does not guarantee early arrival. And you’ll still need to go to the front desk when you arrive to establish payment and provide your ID, plus receive villa keys and parking passes. But much of your check-in information will already be confirmed, helping make your arrival process faster and easier.
